R. Todd Weaver, D.M.D., F.A.G.D.
A graduate of Temple University School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Weaver opened his practice in 1991 located in Souderton, just prior to joining practices with Dr. Reckner in 1994. He now draws from 20 years of experience in practicing dentistry.
Dr. Weaver has earned a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (F.A.G.D.), an award given for post graduate continuing dental education. Dr. Weaver is currently participating in a program of specialized continuing education and lecturing to achieve his Masters in The Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD). He is also a member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, Dental Clinics Club of Philadelphia, and International Association for Orthodontics, and is past President of the Mennonite Medical Association and Ewing Dental Study Club. In this model, patient care is paramount and high quality dentistry is performed with knowledge of all areas of dental care.
Dr. Weaver lived in Africa as a child where his parents served on a medical mission assignment. The mission hospital was located in Tanzania East Africa, and is where he learned to speak Swahili at an early age and develop a world view. Upon returning to the United States, his family settled in Lancaster, becoming neighbors with his future wife Anne. They have three children—Keri, Lara, and Seth—and currently live in Brownstown.
When he is not working, Dr. Weaver and Anne remain active at James Street Mennonite Church, Lancaster Pa, where Dr. Weaver is involved with music in the worship service and Anne teaches Sunday school. Anne has a Life Coach practice and serves on the board of directors of Lancaster Mennonite School and Eastern Mennonite University Board. Dr. Weaver also enjoys running, reading, and playing the guitar and mandolin. “I enjoy relationships with my patients and encouraging them to live healthier lives. Motivating patients both young and old to take responsibility for their health has become a mission for me!”
