R. Todd Weaver, D.M.D., F.A.G.D.
A graduate of Temple University School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Weaver opened his practice in 1991 located in Souderton, just prior to joining practices with Dr. Reckner in 1993. He now draws from 20 years of experience in practicing dentistry.
Dr. Weaver has earned a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (F.A.G.D.), an award given for post graduate continuing dental education. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, Dental Clinics Club of Philadelphia, and International Association for Orthodontics, and is past President of the Mennonite Medical Association. In dental practice, he is interested in the emerging concept of an expanded practice in general dentistry, where he receives advanced training and practices many dental specialties.
Dr. Weaver lived in Africa as a child where his parents served on a medical mission assignment. The mission hospital was located in Tanzania East Africa, and is where he learned to speak Swahili at an early age. Upon returning to the United States, his family settled in Lancaster, becoming neighbors with his future wife Anne. They have three children—Keri, Lara, and Seth—and currently live in Brownstown.
When he is not working, Dr. Weaver and Anne remain very active at James Street Mennonite Church, Lancaster Pa, where Dr. Weaver plays guitar accompaniment and Anne teaches Sunday school. Anne has a Life Coach practice and serves on the board of directors of Lancaster Mennonite School. Together, they serve on the Campaign Steering Committee at Eastern Mennonite University. Dr. Weaver also enjoys running, biking, bird watching, reading, and playing the guitar and mandolin. “I enjoy making a positive impact on people’s lives, and creating motivation for them to take better care of their oral health. It is inspiring to see children taking responsibility for their own oral health and care.”
